Hurricane Delta: Expected to impact
U.S. Gulf Coast by end of the week
|
|
Hurricane Delta is forecast to approach the northern Gulf Coast by late this week and make landfall as a hurricane.
While there is large uncertainty in the track and intensity forecasts, there is a significant risk of dangerous storm surge, wind, and rainfall hazards along the coast from Texas to the western Florida Panhandle beginning Thursday night or Friday morning.
Residents in these areas should ensure that they have their hurricane plan in place and continue to stay abreast of storm development and alerts and refer tolocal emergency management services for important advisories. In addition, please continue to make the Wright Flood Claims Reporting Process available to all the staff in your offices.
Agents can access our YouTube video How to File a Flood Claim with Wright Flood as an additional resource for assisting policyholders.
