New Teen drivers can use these aps to help become distracted on the road for their safety.
We've told you about a couple of apps (AT&T DriveMode and TrueMotion Mojo) that can help your customers with teens address a key pain point — the safety of their young ones when they begin driving.
Start the conversation — or keep it going
Below are a few additional ways to talk with your teen drivers and how the apps might help them avoid distractions.
- "Are you worried about your teen using their phone while driving? Do you think you can prevent it, or do you need help? I've found a free mobile app that might be useful."
- "You know that using the phone while driving significantly increases the risk of a crash — but it can also result in a ticket, which can impact your rates. Have you talked with your teen about how to avoid distracted driving? Do you think a mobile app might help?"
- "Do you think your teen would use an app that offers a chance to win gift cards if they avoid using their phone while driving? It's called Mojo — and it's free. I've used it and it's actually kind of fun."
- "I know I get distracted when I'm driving and someone texts or calls me — I think everybody does. I found a free app that can help, and I think it's especially great for young drivers, because it actually blocks notifications when the car is moving. Would you want to try something like that for your teen?"
