After the holidays and Valentine's Day, you may have new jewelry to protect.
Four things to do to protect your jewelry:
1. Contact your insurance agent to insure for it.
2. Take a picture of it
3. Keep your receipt or appraisal in a safe place and send it to your agent
4. Add it to your home inventory list.
There are several ways to insure your jewelry. If you wear everyday and outside of your premise, you may want to schedule it to add worldwide coverage which can remove the deductible which is an option.
